Since we have today off I am trying to use this day to start our poetry project, starting with collecting my poetry pieces for the portfolio. I realized the challenge in even trying to choose which pieces I wanted to use. I want to choose poetry that effected me or made me see poetry differently, but I cant seem to pinpoint which pieces helped me do so. I ended up making a list of all the pieces we read, then going through and next to each title writing how each effected me. I ended up choosing poems I interpreted with different meanings.
How is everyone's progress coming along? Any problems that anyone is encountering along the way?

Well, Holly, you're farther than me. I was planning on looking for my poems this weekend, so hopefully it isn't due soon. What are you planning on doing with your poetry presentation/project?
ReplyDeleteHolly you are farther than I am too. I have been having trouble picking out poems. I was trying to pick poems that aren't simple and a bit of a challenge, but those are the ones I have the most trouble understanding! I need ideas of poets. haha.
