The Dubliners-Araby
I am findning this set of short stories incrediblyinteresting. Espically the third one entitled, Araby. I found it rather relate able to be pining away for someone whom you love. The story struck me in a rather odd way how it ended however. Being at the bazaar once every booth was empty made me think that it was symbolic for the character never being able to see or get proof of what he truly loves, being Mangan's sister. Then once the lights were shut off and the main character was left in the dark i knew that this was true. The end of the story left him in the dark shut in a room full of where teh bazaar used to be, leaving the reader to assume that he will never be loved back by this girl because he himself is bazaar.
